Je travaille allègrement pour que tout soit prêt pour le lancement qui est prévu le 19 mars prochain à la Quatrième salle du CNA. Mettez ça dans votre agenda parce que j'espère votre présence chaleureuse pour venir célébrer l'accouchement de mon nouveau "bébé". :-)
À part l'enregistrement qui devrait se terminer d'ici une semaine, il y a le mixage, les droits d'auteurs, la pochette, les communiqués de presse, la préparation du spectacle lui-même, et j'en passe. Inutile de vous dire que mon agenda est joyeusement rempli !
Je suis très contente des trames sonores et j'ai hâte d'entendre tout ça mixé avec la voix. J'ai hâte aussi de voir à quoi ressemblera la pochette qui sera préparée par mon ami, le talentueux photographe Claude Brazeau (brazeauphoto.com). Je vous en parlerai plus longuement dans un prochain message. Je rencontre la styliste demain en vue de la session photo et tout ça est très excitant. À suivre...

What an adventure to record a CD !
I'm working cheerfully to have everything ready for the launch which has been planned for March 19 at the NAC Fourth Stage. Add it to your agenda so I can count on your warm presence while I give birth to my new "baby". :-)
Apart from the recording which should be completed in about a week, there are several things to do (mixing, rights, sleeve, press releases, show pacing, etc.) so my schedule is quite full.
I'm quite happy about the musicians' tracks and I can't wait to hear the mix with the voice. I'm also anxious to see the sleeve's design which will be done by my talented friend, photographer Claude Brazeau (brazeauphoto.com), who takes all my pictures. I'll elaborate about it in another message. I'm meeting the stylist tomorrow in preparation for the photo shoot. It's all very exciting!
